The lovely author - Ekat Rin, has finally returned with the most awaited book (yay!). The second part of the THE SOURCE CODE is finally out and I am lucky to have received an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review. The first part left me yearning and so curious that it excites me to be one of the very first readers of the second part of this commendable series.

The author has so strategically gone about with her series by publishing a long series into short books, keeping in mind the likes and comfort of those who prefer short books as well as those who prefer to read a long series, to read a story that unfolds itself in each upcoming book. And thus, the second book of this long series reveals not much but highlights on a plot building sequence that ends with a mind-blowing revelation.

BUT WHAT HAPPENED TO HER NEXT?

Picking up from where it left, Maggie and her companions were successfully able to come out of the forest and head towards the airport. However, the events that took place in the forest have left the visitors baffled. Each oblivious to the happenings in their surrounding and to the incidents that took place with each and every one of them, Maggie and her lot try to unwrap the escapades by joining the puzzles of their memories from the forest. For the reasons unknown yet, she decides to hide the most crucial information – WHAT HAPPENED TO HER IN THE FOREST, only for the safety of the others. But that’s what she thinks, not anticipating the backfire of her actions. Just when Maggie decides to share her ‘not so little’ secret of the forest with her brother George, they land on something unbelievable only to leave her petrified.

As much with finesse that the author has written the book and as engaging that it is, one thing that I admired the most about is the fact that she has so smartly got together the two elements – isolated tribe and coding, that hold no connection to the naked eye, so ‘mysteriously’ to proffer us a series of suspense and adventure to read.

As the previous book, part two as well, is a quick and light to read book that keeps you turning the pages and ends with your mouth wide open. It has formed a good plot base for its upcoming parts. Yet again the author has done exquisitely well in hooking her readers.

This series is definitely a strong recommendation for everyone out there. Better grab it soon!
